I recently stayed at Hotel La Isla for a relaxing beach getaway. The staff and service were exceptional, making up for any shortcomings in the hotel's appearance. The location is stunning, with beautiful overhanging coconut trees and private beach areas. The outdoor pool is spacious and well-equipped with plenty of sun chairs and shade. The food at the hotel was delicious, with a great variety of vegetarian options. I also enjoyed the wildlife around the hotel, including capuchin monkeys, lizards, and pelicans flying overhead.
I do recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for our Costa Rica vacation and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location was great, with easy access to Manuel Antonio and Quepos. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff provided friendly service. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. We also enjoyed the beautiful grounds and the two pools. It was a great base for exploring the area.
As light sleepers, we were constantly disturbed by noise from other guests, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and there was always someone available who spoke fluent English. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. I especially loved the fact that some rooms even had their own kitchen, making it convenient for longer stays. The hotel is also set on a beautiful secluded beach, which was a wonderful bonus. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby towns and attractions.
All was well during my stay.

The hotel staff provided excellent service, making me feel like I was in my own house in Costa Rica. The basic amenities in the rooms, including a kitchen, were really convenient. We stayed at Hotel La Isla for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The staff were excellent and the food was delicious. We even had the chance to see monkeys and feed them. The beach was stunning and perfect for relaxing, though be mindful of rip tides. The hotel had a camping vibe without the need for a tent, and the beer was always ice cold. We highly recommend this place and hope to visit again someday.
We highly recommend this hotel.

Liked the ambience, especially the coconut trees lining the beach. Great location, stunning sunsets! Beautiful outdoor pool! The food was delicious and catered to all dietary preferences.
Disliked the dated decor and lack of toiletries, while some areas require updating, the location and staff makeup for it.
